About a month ago, my husband was going to our little village when a little blonde furball ran out in front of him.....another vehicle dodged it. My husband went back and picked it up...a little female. She was wet, hungry and scared. We had not had a dog since Bandit, our 11 year old Shitzu, passed away some 12 years ago.
We decided on the name Annie, since she was an orphan....that seemed appropriate. She was carried to the vet......she had a myriad of health problems.....he mentioned putting her to sleep but my husband wasn't ready to do that. We, and especially Edward, are going to great lengths to nurse Annie into good health.....she is happy......and she brings lots of joy to us and to our six grandchildren next door..........
Annie had some good days and many that were not so good.....she seemed to be happy.....sadly when we had had her about a month she began going backward in health again. She passed away and was buried in our pet cemetery. Although we had Annie just a short while, she will live in our memories forever.....farewell sweet Annie........
