Congratulations Elisabeth.....
Congratulations Elisabeth for winning second place in the state of Georgia's agricultural art contest. You can click Elisabeth to see more of the story and pictures.
Elisabeth is my 15 year old twin granddaughter. She, her twin sister Erin ,the photographer, father-Chad, went to Atlanta to the capitol building for an award ceremony where she met Governor Sonny Purdue, the Commisioner of Agriculture, Tommy Irwin, and Miss Agriculture. She was awarded a medal and monetary gift.

My Special Pink Stuffed Heart............

Today I was given the prettiest pink heart...........My six year old granddaughter, Ellie, and my ten year old grandson, Wesley made me a beautiful pink stuffed heart. They designed it, cut it out, and with a little assistance at the sewing machine, stitched it together.
I know it is stuffed full of love because they are loving children. The thought that they wanted to make and give me something just thrills me to no end.
It will always be a priceless reminder of a special Valentine's Day in years to come.
