Just today I saw where Mary of Isabella's Closet tagged me for the meme 'Eight Random Things About Me'.........so here goes.....

1. I am the youngest of 6 children...my oldest brother was 25 when I was born, the youngest was 14....

2. I have taken Taekwondo Karate.......

3. Four of my siblings and my mother died of cancer and my only living sibling has had cancer......

4. I've played the piano for 55 years and love it.....

5. I do not eat eggs......except in cooked food that I can't see.

6. The last egg I ate was 45 years ago when I was expecting our first child, I felt I owed it to her. I didn't eat one with the other child......she loves eggs....

7. I wear one contact lense....I am near sighted and that takes care of seeing at a distance.

8. I love to swim in a pool but I do not swim in the ocean. A friend drowned in the ocean when we were children and that quenched my desire to play in the ocean.
