If you read my blog last week about 'Eight Random Things About Me' , then you know I don't eat eggs....ugh....however, I do grow them......Where do you get yours?
A very dear gardener friend of mine, Jeanette, started me growing 'eggs' a few years ago. The green plants are pretty just growing but in a few weeks purple blooms appear. Then in a short while, the eggs begin to grow. As the plant ages, the eggs grow larger.....finally the eggs turn a deep, golden yellow......
This plant has about twelve eggs on it........It's a great conversation starter.......Children as well as adults are amazed to see 'eggs' growing on a bush.......I also have 'money' plants...that's for another day.......Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how do your eggs grow?
